Agave ovatifolia

Attractive agave species, cold hardy with very broad leaves (American name is ‘whale tongue agave’). Unknown until the beginning of 1990. Originates from the Sierra Lampozo in the state of Coahuile in North East Mexico. There it grows on elevations of 2000 m, isolated from the surrounding mountains.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
