Fouquieria splendens
Fouquieria splendens, also names Ocotillo, is a landscape determining plant from the Sonoran and Chihuahuan deserts. A highly distinctive species by its long branches, edged with spines. Once it rains it forms green leaves, which in turn dry as drought strikes. In spring Fouguieria splendens forms beautiful red flowers at the end of the branches.
A unique and atmospheric plant.
